We got the holes all drilled for the hood scoops and hood pins tonight. It’s going to look pretty cool. We did it without the template. We just followed the directions a member on here posted in a thread and it worked flawlessly.

I ordered the carpet and it said online may need some trimming. That was an understatement lol. The color looks great and I also got it with the Mas backing.

Where'd you end up getting carpet? I hear there's not too many that still make carpet for these old Mopes.

Also, what type of paint are you using? I'm almost to the point of spraying the jams and trunk on my 66. It's a little nerve racking.

Got the carpet off eBay and using PPG paint.

We got the body cut in today. We also painted and cleared the roof so it’s sealed for when we put the vinyl on the car. That should keep it from rusting under the vinyl.

Got some undercarriage parts sand blasted and will be painting them. I checked out the factory kframe welds and they aren’t very good so I’ll be fixing them tomorrow.

Got some of the undercarriage parts sprayed with the KBS. This stuff is stronger than powder coat. I like the way it came out. I will get the Kframe painted after I touch up the welds.

Here’s a picture with painted scoops sitting on the hood also have the vinyl top over car so the creases relax out of it before we install it.

Finally got my radio back from the repair shop. Took them almost two years. It will be nice having FM

I got a lot done today on the dart. I pressure washed off the underneath so I can re undercoat it, graphited my exhaust manifolds and the master cylinder. Got the k frame factory welds touched up and painted a couple other odds and ends. Still have a lot of little things to paint still. The first two manifolds pictures are before I put the graphite on them. Graphite never burns off and rust won’t come through it either. I’m going to do my brake calipers and rear drums also.

Starting to get the rearend back together. I used green bearings for the axle shaft and no problems putting it together.
