Starter Splash Shield

Do you guys use these starter splash shields? Do they even fit with headers? I found one on my shelf and am wondering if it's worth installing.

That's probably how mine ended up in the trunk when I bought it years ago. At least I moved it to the shelf. Haha! It's got a nice little crease in it, so it was probably used at some point. Are they even useful?

Not an A-body, but DMT has a couple photos of E-bodies and C-bodies (below). Not sure on the years. They just seem like debris catchers to me.

There are two more splash shields up front by the torsion bars, L&R.

Mopar ditched them on four speed cars because of the clutch linkage.
