Starting issues

Tried to start my car yesterday and its not turning over. Headlights come on but no lights on the dash. Not sure if its the neutral safety switch? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

If it were the nuetral safety switch the lights on the dash would come on along with the headlights. That's strange. Is it clicking?

No clicking whatsoever. Its like its dead. Do you think possibly the fuseable link?

Did you try it in neutral as well?

I would throw a trickle charger on the battery first. See what it read's and eliminate it as the problem. Sometimes if my battery is dead enough it doesn't even click when I try to start it but the lights work.

So I looked underneath the steering column and moved the wires around with my hand and the car fired right up. There must be a loose connection up there somewhere.
