Got a Question. Is any of the exterior trim on a 68 Dart aluminum? Like headlight/ taillight bezels, grill, trunk cover. I say this because I would like to get my trim rechromed.
Steel or Aluminum?

you can get aluminum chromed if you want
I've got a '69 Dart and just about all of the exterior trim is polished aluminum or stainless. Of course the bumpers are chromed. The tail light bezels are chromed with painted details.
You can get aluminum chromed as joe440 said. It all depends on whether you're doing a stock restoration, restification, or building to suit your own taste.
