Hi all,

I have exhausted all options and have not been able to find a manufacturer that can make these wheels in a 17x8 or 18x8 with a 5x4 bolt pattern.

Does anyone know of anyone that could produce these in steel?

I have a quote in for billet versions but they are $925 per wheel.

Any assistance would be much appreciated.

I got the Wheel Vintiques 15x8 in the SBP. For the money for the 17", you would be very far ahead swapping out to the BBP 5x4.5. You probably know this, but my 2 cents

Yep, this is what I am coming to realise. It bewilders me that manufacturers can't manufacture this bolt pattern.

Detroit Steel Wheels reckons that they will offer custom bolt patterns in the future but that's about a year away.

A Chinese wheel manufacturer can do them but minimum order is 75 sets and I can't order samples to check quality.

There is one other guy who is checking if they can produce them.
 
I don't know if they can be made. I may be wrong but I thought the makers use original centers and a 17" or 18" inch hoop are just too big diameter.

I got the 15x7. They only come in 4.25 backspace so I had to pay 25 a wheel more for a custom 4.5" backspace. Wish I went 4.75 backspace. Mine are big blost though.

Sorry, I meant won't not can't. I understand the lack of demand, I guess I expected that I could pay extra to have these made as required. I have started asking if the can provide blanks that I will get drilled myself.
 
Yeah these are the Detroit Steel Wheel guys. They reckon they will be doing the Chrysler style rims and custom bolt pattern in about a year.

May just need to hold off until then.

Mopar 14 and 15" wheels regardless of bolt pattern share the same diameter center. When my son was in high school we made up some small bolt 15 x 10 wheels. The biggest problem you are facing is the size of the center register. They are also smaller on the 4" pattern. There isn't enough meat on the big bolt wheels to drill another pattern between those.

Yeah, I was looking at that today to see if it was possible to drill a 2nd set of holes, but it looks like you'd run out of space.
 
So...for a grand per wheel you might get what you want....thats a big ouch.
Is there a reason your holding onto the tiny brakes and little lugnuts? Youve got some roads that would challenge them, hard.
upgrading your brakes using some/mostly factory parts to large bolt pattern, both front and rear, can be done for around the cost of one custom wheel.
Opens up a lot of choices with the 5 on 4-1/2".

Wheel Vintiques and Coker both have 15" steelies in SBP. I have 15x6 in the front and 15x7 on the rear of my Valiant. Very nice wheels, too.
 
I've been looking at these wheels to in 17x7 for my dart, but do they look good on a dart? Haven't been able to find a picture of a dart with those wheels in 17in.
I will update to 13in discs in the future so idealy for me it would have a double bolt pattern o I can use then with my SBP and keep them when I upgrade. I see you can get a GM Ralley with 5x4 and 5x4,5 double bolt pattern so it should be doable, or would the register be to small to fit on a stock front brake?
