Steering box nut

Need to know what size threads the nut is that holds the pitman arm on the steering box. Manual box. 1973 model. Also is this a specialty nut or can I just go to my local bolt store and get one?

It should be a standard U.S. size, but >1" and fine thread so not easy to find. If the box is off, take it in to fit. It just snugs the arm onto the splines. Need a lock washer too to keep it secure.

Thanks for the reply Bill. I did some research and found it to be 7/8-14. Bought a nut and washer at the hardware store
