My service manual doesn’t show this very clearly at least for my slow brain. On the steering shaft from the car to the power steering box, is the picture attached showing the disconnect coupling? And is it held together by a roll pin?(hole left side.)
Is this coupler bushing available anywhere mine kind of chewed up

Yes there are kits available.
this one may not be specific to your car and application but it gets you in the ball park

NOTE: be careful removing the steering column it has a collapsible shaft inside and it you break the retainer the shaft can work its way out of position.

ALSO: be sure to back up the coupler at the roll pin and use a proper roll pin punch

There are two rings of splines. The roll pin holds the coupler to the input shaft of the steering box by passing along the grove in between.

You need a new seal.

How do the stainless clamps fit?
I've got it apart, had to so the headers would fit.
Looks like Oreilly has the kit. I'll pick up tomorrow

The stainless clamp goes over the top cap of the coupler. The legs of the clamp are split so that you put one leg into each side of the roll pin.

I just found a thread from 2009. That explains it fairly well. My column when I took it out didn’t have the small dowel pin that I could find either. Of course when I pulled it out everything went apart. My next question is when you put it all back together, do you need to pack the box with grease for the coupler?
Or just make sure everything is lubed well. Is red bearing grease OK.

Yes. Pack the coupler with all purpose grease. I used the valvoline red variety.

I used this thread as a reference
