Hi there,
does a manual steering box out of a w200 truck fit my 72 Dart w/ps and if so do I need a new steering arm also?
I can get one for 70 bucks...

Dont know yet. The offer is new on our german board (yes we have one :) ). I'll ask the guy tomorrow and than I'll come back.

Thankks for fast reply.

Does this interchange book cover only mopar parts or for example ford parts to fit mopars?

Buschi from what I know, there is only 1 type of manual box, and its the same from 64-76 i believe, only the pitman arms change. I recently swapped mine and used one from a 65 Dart, just used my pitman arm. Hey Buschi i also wanted to thank you and your site, it kinda helped me out when I was repairing the coupler as it was my first time! http://www.buschis-place.de/steeringcouplerrepair.htm

your power steering shaft coupler wont work with the manual steering box though, youll need an adapter like this one

Hey Badass... the steeringcoupler thing is not from me. I stole it from an 4x4 truck site ;)

But thanks anyway...

I know about the shaft. I think I have to lengthen mine or build one from german junk parts. Flamin' river is cool but a lil expensive (and shipping to germany too... :( )

Lets see if I get the casting numbers...

The truck box is completely different from the car! Sorry! If I could find my camera I would post pics of them. I have one of each laying in the back yard.
