Steering pot coupler solution?

I fought my steering pot coupler tabs for way too many hours on my 65' Barracuda. Finally got those damn tabs pinched down. I know a lot of guys use the clip that fits over the later model couplers. I did locate an alternative that might work for someone else. Robber boot fits over the whole top portion of the coupler. Won't fit on my early A.
