Steering Shaft Nut

I seem to have misplaced my steering shaft nut in the 24hrs that it's been off the car. Can I use a generic nut for this? Anyone know the thread?

Power steering auto column for a '69 Val if that matters.

Don't know the thread but IIRC, it looks like a spacial nut.

You couldnt have gone far with it and has to be in a local area... look where you worked last then look again look with other nuts and bolts that you had laying around. maybe it got mixed in by accident...look on the floor around that same area it will turn up

Still haven't found this god forsaken thing. I think it might have come off in the sand blaster, I dug through the media in the bottom and couldn't find it.
