Steering wheel splines 67-68

Hi Y'all,

I have a question regarding steering wheel splines. I have a 67 steering column i restored for my ride, and its now boxed up and in storage. I dont want to dig it out and open it up until i am ready to install in the car.

I have a possible deal to get a nice 68 B body standard steering wheel that uses the half horn ring. Will the 68 year model steering wheel fit the splines on the 67 column?

Not 100% sure but would recommend you take a little time to unpack your column and verify.

.......not 100% sure but years ago I changes the shaft from a 66 coronet into a 69 super bee........kim....

.......I'm pretty sure I used the super bee steering wheel when I swapped the shaft...........kim.

I got this idea this morning to check the year one catalog. They are pricey but a good source of reference. They list the same standard steering wheel for A And B models from 67-69. So i guess i will go get this 68 B body wheel. Lots of 1 year only stuff on the 67 barracuda that i wanted to be sure.

I had a 68-9 three spoke woodgrain wheel that I got from a 69 Cuda that I restored and put on Nellas 67 Cuda for awhile! Fit right on....I'd say they are the same!!

...and I know for a fact that the A and B body steering wheels are the same!!! I say go for it!!
