Stiff clutch

Hello guys , hope you can help me. I'm in the process of buying a 70 Dart 340 4 spd. Not sure of type of clutch , but linkage and bushings etc. are all new ,Clutch pedal is very hard to press, Any ideas as to why & how this can be fixed,

probably a brutal 3 arm. either live with it,"pop into netrual every chance ya get" or replace with a good diaghram style

You could put in a hydraulic clutch if the mechanical one is to hard on you. There just stiff like that though.

Whattype of diaphram clutch do you recommend ? thanks for the help
