What h.p. and torque numbers from a stock cam and heads 408 Magnum, 750 carb, headers? What kind of e.t. in a 3000# car. Rpm shift points for best results? Thanks, Brad.

There is no such thing as a "stock 408 magnum". A 408 is a 360 engine that has been fitted with a longer stroke crankshaft and shorter pistons. Far from stock.

Do you mean a stock 360 magnum?

I don't think a stock size cam and stock heads would feed a 408 enough to run any good. The extra stroke needs extra fuel and air getting into it. You could probably get away with stock heads, but not cam. You probably wouldn't gain much over a stock stroke 360 magnum, especially in higher RPM's
