Just a FYI
Hughes sells a lock and retainer set that has more lock to stem seal clearance.
Those 1110 springs and that retainer and lock set is what I used with my .512 lift cam.
The lock to guide isn’t the issue.
Locks to stem seal is.
The retainers and locks are from the 2.2 V6 motor and give a bit more clearance, but if I remember correctly not enough for a .533 lift.
Hughes can tell you for sure, as I spoke with them to get the parts I got.

It was probably one of the 4 cylinders.
