Some food for thought.
Every published dyno numbers I have seen, have had the peak torque numbers at about 5000 rpm.
If you plan on leaving it stock ,then use a stock tight converter.
If you are looking for low et's, see above.

I run a 3800 with my SRT Maxplus and 3.91 gears and its a happy marriage.
