there is nothing wrong with the bracket,it is stock it is for '67-'68 w/ac

I have a used one...short or long tongue? Bolt hole spacing?

Any auto parts store can get you a brand new one for about $20.
Are you by chance trying to fit a Slant pump in there? It has the same mount and drive arm as a BB, but the pump body faces up instead of down like a BB.
