Tried my dewalt 1/2” impact yesterday. Hi cap battery.
2010 ram-7/8 socket.
Took the wheel nuts of with a little grunting.
Rotated tires, put all the nuts on and followed with a torque wrench. 130 foot lbs. most of them were tight, a couple were 1/2 flat to hit torque. Im impressed.
With my recip saw and cordless 4-1/2” grinder the high capacity batteries work very well.

The name game again?
I cant remember my own name most of the time.
I hope there wont be a test later...

We run Dewalts at work and every time they don't have the torque to bust something loose the boys raid my box and grab my Snap On. My 1/2 impact will break your arm. They give me hours and hours of static over paying the money for the Snap On battery tools but we do enough work with them in a very harsh environment that there is simply no arguing the performance. Good equipment isn't cheap, cheap equipment isn't good. Sadly I think I have put my Snap On dealers kids thru school. Every time I get a "free" Snap On coat my wife howls when I tell her it was free!
I'm starting to look for a new Milwaukee hammer drill. I see they have 2 different torque levels. Not sure which one mine is closest to. I have used mine a lot. Have replaced switch/brushes. Figure it can't last forever. I do have a couple Craftsman for backup.

Hey Keefer...Are you going to watch the Steelers tomorrow? I don't think I am. I must be the bad luck because I don't seem to get to watch them win

Frustrating year for Steelers fans but they are they still alive? Seahawks weren't supposed to make the playoffs, weren't supposed to beat the Chiefs, did both.

They just got a new one at work. Haven't used it yet. I see it has a 'normal' trigger like most drills. My biggest problem with the old one was the toggle trigger switch. Too easy to hit the wrong direction. We use it taking clamps off vacuum system up in the air. If the nut is loose and you hit loosen when you want to tighten- Good chance your gonna lose a nut.

Need help. They need to win(Bengals @Heinz feild)and Crows need to lose(Browns in Baltimore).
Also, (even longer shot) - : If the Steelers beat the Bengals and Colts-Titans ends in a tie on Sunday night, the Steelers would get in as a wild card.

MI don't have a cordless impact, but a good air one - Ingersoll Rand....

Cordless tools that I have the batteries don't last long on a charge... Maybe I have the wrong brand.... :BangHead:

I have a Milwaukee Force 1/2" drive brushless. 1400ftlbs break away torque. Lasts for days at work without issue. Havent found a bolt or nut I couldnt loosen yet.
