The outer is the same but the brackets are different so I am going to say negative on that.

74 is the last year it has two bolts on each side. 75 has one big bolt on the side into the frame rail and another bolt from the bottom.
Huh? Absorber mounts...

The outer is all we got, new rechrome...looks great...

was on mine. Simply unbolted the rusted one from the crash plate and bolted the one I yanked from the donor car right up. Donor car had the shock absorber brackets, mine didnt... both 74s.
 
Only difference I saw is that one does not have the lower holes for mounting bumperettes. Apparently the position changed late 75. Earlier ones are mounted on the next wider position.
 
Please tell me he didn't give you a front. He had both. We only discussed rear.
Well, there is my confusion. I thought you just got a nice rear bumper, that I brought. So I Thought I was getting a front bumper, and this one is a............Back bumper so it is what you want....I guess...
