Stop in for a cup of coffee

-
Got done with the roof and walked over to the coffee shop for coffee and scones.
Came back to this overhead. (camara is useful when the binoculars aren't handy)

Don't know what it was about. Nothing on their website when I looked.
Last time a news chopper was overhead - it was a little west of here.

In 25-30 mph zone, a van managed to go over the sidewalk, through the fence and down into the railroad cut.
Van falls onto SEPTA tracks after crash in SW Philadelphia
two versions of who hit who. No matter - someone didn't have their hands on the wheel!

That second pic shows why Philly roads suck so much. Look at how many times it has been cut and patched for utility work. I swear there is a secret law that says any piece of intact road has to be cut into at least 5 times. That intersection seems to be an over achiever with at least seven different cuts made in it.

Tractor bucket is on, cycled and put away til next light day. Will finish up the welding and paint
Soon enough.

They are close to the front because they are functional. They feed the supercharger.
I figured. Still looks like the ram air of the 90s firebirds to me. Not quite the same but that was my first impression

Boy that straw fight at McDonalds on the news was cool. The guy customer was pissed that he didn't get a straw and reached over the counter. The McD's employee was a little gal with boxing training. She just railed on the customer. He got arrested, she is still employed.
McDonald getting dangerous these days. You see that video where the woman attacked the much much bigger manager over a milkshake and got her *** handed to her?

Then, at the McDonald’s @Mopar Tim and I met in July, last week, guy in the drive thru got into a shoot out with a robber and both died

Part of it is the not so secret rule that different departments and agencies aren't going to work together, and yet they all have some responsibility for the road. Its ridiculous. And since they all have different masters, no one politician can sit on all of them and make them them play as team.

Well guys after talking to almost every glass shop in the area and multiple recommendations from friends no one was interested in installing the windshield on the Duster. So me being me, I said screw it and decided to do it myself. And by the grace of God I got’r dun! Wasn’t nearly as difficult as i had imagined.

Good for you!
I helped Joe at ASG put both front and rear back in my car. It wasn't hard but he had experience and confidence. Original gaskets were helped out with a 3M sealant.

Been too chicken to remove and reinstal the jeep's windshield or the rear side glass.

I wouldn’t go as far as to say easy, but definitely not as difficult as some made it seem. Just took my time, didn’t force anything.

Oh course, if I ever owned one of those cars...I would have to do the scoops black!
