Stop in for a cup of coffee

We have 8 inches of snow on the ground and still snowing. We need it bad though. Supposed to hit 45 tomorrow, should be sloppy.

So good to be back home with my sister, where it is quiet without machines beeping all the time.
Glad you are doing better. There is no real rest In the hospital unless you are unconscious.

25 years ago, my blood pressure went through the roof and the Doc said he would just put me in the hospital for 2 weeks to rest while they got my meds worked out. It told him he was nuts. 2 weeks in a hospital is NOT the way to rest and reduce stress and it will only make things worse, I will just stay at home.

He looked at me confused and said “Gee, I never thought of a hospital as a stressful place.”

Dumbass...I fired him on the spot.

Another freakin chair.
My wife made me bring an office chair home. We have more chairs than asses here.

Yuck. That's what we usually get. I thought you'all got dry snow. You know, powder. And then it stays cold so it doesn't turn in mush.

That reminds me of a movie I saw last night at The Secret Cinema's National Film Registry program.
"The Inner World of Aphasia (1968, Dir: Edward and Naomi Feil) - This, a medical training film made by a small regional production company and starring the director's wife, is surely one of the most unlikely entries in the National Film Registry -- and one of its most powerful viewing experiences. It details the frustration of a nurse whose traumatic injury causes her to lose the ability to speak. For sheer emotional impact, this rather startling film handily matches any Hollywood product."

Ngay bây giờ, tôi đang nghĩ về một số món ăn thực sự tốt từ khu vực đồng bằng sông Cửu Long ..... Đặc biệt, hải sản .... Toi hanh phuc, bay gio.

Seafood tonight? What did you decide?

Car stuff.
Worked a little more on the car today. There's a couple places where the wiring harness had factory supports that are missing on my car. This surely caused some strain on the field wire and the ignition wire. Hey, ignorance was bliss.
Now I'm looking for any information or pic on how the wires were retained, especially the main harness from the firewall to the brake fail switch on the frame rail.
It looks like there should be a coated metal retainer on the firewall-cowl lip. I'm hoping this is a clip on? If so, ever see one for sale?

On my ‘69, it’s a hangar that screws onto the fire wall and hangs against that indent...

Hope nobody here owns loud Harleys. Friggen Harleys! If my Darts were as loud as those I would be in jail.
Hah! Drag pipes to live, live for drag pipes! We run them loud so folks don't make the dreaded left turn in front of us, as they can't see us. Figure if they can't see us maybe they can hear us? So really it is all about safety. And it makes the bike vibrate and shake, how else would all of our parts fall off and the girls want to go for a putt? PS my wife agrees with you!

You can hear them going but not much coming. Noise isn't a way to be seen.
