Stop in for a cup of coffee

Do all you Iowa guys go to the Mopar show in Omaha early May? I am seriously thinking about it but Mopars in the Park is same month so wallet and wife would be stretched a bit.
Been kicking this around, haven't been to it for a long time.

When is it?

My wife is seriously into Tanzanite also. Scored a 3 carat gem when deployed for a few hundred it appraised for 4800! That was a score, I was afraid it was fake.
I have a few trays of gemstones I have collected.

Productive day.

Rotisserie?
Yes. Most of the cutting and drilling is done. Big day of welding tomorrow. A couple oversights but will deal with them as we build.

Note to bandsaw owners- check oil in the gearbox occasionally.
Mine run low. And saw slowed and almost stopped. Never added any in 10 years. It seeps. Its running again, but i will keep an eye on it.

8-9 hour drive for me. Made a nice trip with the wife, checked out some of the sights along the way.
Had a pretty nasty day in shop, dog ripped toe nail off so we did at home surgery and repaired. Wife gave doggie meds to Hemi who promptly gorked out in chair. I went under the dash to sort out foot pedals. Keep in mind I am not a small guy, picture a lifelong weight lifter at 6-2ish 250 pounds. Wearing welding hat but failed to spin it, spark down ear, then smelled smoke but figured it was dash junk on fire. Nope... it was me. Put myself out, shut off the music and walked away. Picture is remains of my favorite Canucks sweatshirt. Curled up with hound and adult beverage to watch football. Tomorrow will be a better day.

WOW!!

Working. No snow here yet but wife said it started there(15 miles south) an hour ago. Just a skeleton crew here. We are probably getting out early if the one press run gets done.
