We usually got a pretty good refund. This year my daughter dropped off as a dependent and with the changes... Not filed yet, but looks like we are coming out with a very small refund.
I guess that is actually ideal in terms of not giving the guberment an interest free loan, but for me that is better than the alternative of owing in April. I just submitted a new w4 to withhold more... ​

You might check out the hydro coat process? Not sure if it interests you but it is a neat process for plastic and color schemes are endless. It appears to be quite durable as well. Kind of like powder coating for plastic?
 
Good morning :D. Another soggy day for the sunny Ca coast :lol:. Went to town yesterday and tracked down some Kona Roast beans for the grinder. Been a while, forgot how tasty it is.
 
Fixing to head to my shop,to do weeks paperwork that I usually do Saturday but yesterday was my mom's birthday party.
She turned 91 years old.
Today high is going to be 72 !!!
 
Good morning. Was supposed to get a few trees dropped today. Crew is 2 hours late now. Looks like it might rain so maybe they wont show. Didn't really like the idea of chain saw noise on Sunday anyway.
 
Time to head to the store, cousin an hour away is having a super bowl gathering, I am going to make some cheese bites my sister told me about. I have zero interest in football. My Dad never watched it, he always had projects he was working on, he would never just sit there watching a game.

From what I read SoCal further south of here had a lot of unexpected tree droppings yesterday. That heavy rain with winds from the non-prevailing direction syndrome. We had the winds here but much less rain.

Yeah that's what I'm out to avoid. A few leaners I'm tired of worrying about.
 
Well back...been out cleaning and doing some firewall work getting ready to install the new harness.
Buddy that's helping called and had to cancel. His starter is acting up on his 84 Dodge PU.
Guess I'll put the surrounds/grill back in. Took them out, repainted and polished them. They look really good!!
First though, I need to get in and clean the bugs off the front of the radiator and area.

You got a Warlock? I love them! I have scoured the earth trying to find one reasonable to purchase. It is like finding an E body. You can find a million Lil Red Express but the Warlocks are hard to find. Well let me rephrase you can find them but most are already redone and pricey. Love to see a pix.
 
There’s a lil red express less than 2 miles from here in storage. Owner defaulted and storage guy owns it.
Wants 9 grand.havent looked at it yet.

Yeah I agree. So much easier than trying to save several grand for every April
 
Got the handrail for the stairwell done, new front door handle and a piece of trim on the top tread of the stairway to cover new flooring.
Two transitions to do and have to cut 1/4” off of a couple doors.
The all thats left is baseboard the whole upstairs. In spring.

I can see that happening. It was withheld without tax originally so the refund should be claimed as income.
