I picked up my Suburban yesterday from the shop. Owner said I really should be glad I didn't try fixing it in the driveway. There were several aftermarket brackets to remove, skid plate was a pain, everything in the way. Took two guys to wrestle the tank out of there, and that was on a lift. Total cost 434 dollars, I'm okay with that.

Well, only made it just south of Macon Ga. 17hrs of straight driving. Gotta love a car that gets 47mpg. Only stopped for fuel 1 time. Seemed better to stop and get a few hours sleep and be rested on arrival than get there too early and sleep all morning. Getting ready, breakfast and drive the last 5 hours. Have a great day everyone!!

Good Morning!!
The weekend is here which means the wife is here too!!

Soon out for brekkie then to shop and pick away at the Barracuda.
As soon as it gets warmer i want to hunt through the parts and see if i have everything for the vinyl roof chrome. Missing parts means weld holes and sell chrome.

Hello, Just got back from Wally World and Groceries, to fill the house, since Im back....

I found with my 68 that the bench sits a little higher. When I switched from bench to bucket, I was sitting slightly lower and needed an additional pillow to sit on.
True. The factory bucket seats put you a little lower.

heres a 64 cuda im just finishing , I shipped this one home to Australia from California about 2 years ago, and dragged it out of storage a few mths back , shes nearly ready to hit the road

What is or where is it missing? I read your build page trying to see if I could figure it out, nice work so far btw.

Geez that's great (the milage, not the 17 hrs straight) What are you driving? a Rabbit diesel? :p

Was it easier to reach the pedals with the shorter seats???
The downside is your arms are furthe from the steering wheel. ALthough I gues that depends on how far back you need to place the seat.
