Stop in for a cup of coffee

LOL I remember having DDT in the garage growing up. Dad used that all over the place no insect problems though....

I've seen the recipe around. Does it work Mike?
Yes it does work , I used RoundUp in my back yard and it made my dog sick about 11 years ago. I may use it in other areas of my yard, but never again around my pets. They eat the grass. I used this homemade version and it works and does not make my dogs sick.
To kill all vegetation in walkways, driveways and other areas where you don’t want any living thing to grow again, mix two cups ordinary table salt with one gallon of white vinegar. Do this in a container that is larger than one-gallon capacity so you have room for the salt. Apply the lid and shake to dissolve the salt. Salt dissolves more quickly in vinegar than in water, but it takes a bit of doing. It may not completely dissolve, but that’s okay.

Add 1 teaspoon of liquid dishwashing soap (this is to break the surface tension of the mixture so it will stick to the plant material you’ll be killing). Pour into an ordinary garden sprayer. Apply to weeds or grass on a dry, sunny day to areas you don’t want to see vegetation of any kind in the future.

The presence of salt in this recipe is what will eventually bring permanence to your weed killing. The salt will penetrate and leach into the soil. It may take several applications, but in time the presence of salt will “sterilize” the soil in this area so that nothing will grow there. Plan well before you go this permanent route.

These homemade weed killer recipes are not only cheap, but both are also completely non-toxic to humans and animals. In fact, except for the soap (not toxic, but not very tasty), you could have fun with the family tonight when you tell them you made the salad vinaigrette using 3 parts olive oil to 1 part weed killer!

Good Morning....

Not yet...

The kid and I are going through the 340 for my brother's Challenger convert that he bought from us.. we are going to get it ready to be installed...

I took the heads off to get hardened seats put in the exhaust valves...

My brother wants a smooth running street engine and the guy that sold us the cam (a local Direct Connection shop from the late 70's) gave us a more radical DC grind... I'm going to keep that cam for another build as it's more than my brother wants/needs.... Plus it's an old Direct Connection cam....

So we're replacing the cam and installing the fresh heads and get the engine ready to paint and install....

Got nothing. Tried running the number through the interchange on my supplier’s website. Didnt come up with anything.

Me neither. Appears to be a B distrib. I know Canada used something like it I rebuilt one a while ago for a guy. He was super nervous about it told me it took him years to find it. Think it was insured 1500 each way.

I just almost choked on some ribs... Still a little stuck in my throat, but I can at least breathe for now....

Going to lay down for a bit...
