Stop in for a cup of coffee

As much as I'd like an Eagle, a Subie would be better for mom - asssuming there's dealers and mechanics for them in that part of the state.
They are built well. Subaru used to be part of Fuji Heavy Industries. They made construction equipment

Is there a lift kit available?

And yes, I'm still alive. Thanks to all who sent me emails/pms checking. I've just been BUSY

Car is on rotisserie. Waitung for my buddy, then we go have breakfast.

Getting her an AMC Eagle wagon, or a Subie? :poke::D

We are just checking some out while she is visiting. I want her to check out the Subie Crosstrek. Seems about the size and options she needs. Everything they drive gets beat up very quickly with their roads.

Well time to get motivated and start some of these projects around the house. First off seal the grout on the new backsplash. Later boys
Been working on getting condo on the market, New paint , flooring, ETC. Got complete condo painted, needed to touch up some over spray in the living room. got paint to match, or so i thought. I did not. "touch up" turned into a complete repaint of the ceiling, which was good except for the miss match paint! NOW I have to repaint the walls because of over spray!! Dang!!!

The XJ Cherokee/Wagoneers with straight 6 are pretty solid, but being out of production for 10 years, prob the not what you want for mom.

What a PIA Tim. You couldn't pay me to spray walls. Brush and roller - that's it.

Off to the garage to drop off the tailpipes and open up the starter. (Yes, since I'm ordering a new boot figure might as well look at the contacts and brushes.)

Spray is REALLY fast. Just the cut ins take time. AND better have either everything out of the room, or covered up. My condo is empty.

I gotta run, things to do. Been doing a TON of work on the Dart all week in the evenings and now I gotta run to the welding shop. be back

My sister works for Subie where they make those. Her, my brother and my mom all have them. They are nice quality rides. HOWEVER, expect parts to be EXPENSIVE. Not sure why it is that way but its way more expensive in parts compared to some other makes. And the front hubs are notorious for going out, I've had to help replace a set in each of them and my brother is on his 3rd set.

I gotta crawl under my deck, and fix a copper water pipe joint that popped apart. Put a new valve there last year. Guess I didnt get enough solder in it. Shouldn't be too bad...

Progress on floor. Made panel, but it fills the hole. Need to pull it into place. Couple drill tap screws and a claw hammer. Perfect! Then i will grind screw off, leaving hole filled. A tack weld and it should be good!

Saw the cardiologist this morning to review th monitor results from last month. 3 brief a-fib occurrences. Corresponded directly to when my pulse was up. The worst was the 180bpm I knew about in the junkyard. He wasn't getting too exited about it, but wants me to start a blood thinner. Also getting an echo done in a couple weeks. Just a regular one, no stress. He said he really does not expect to see any issue on that, just covering all bases.
