Tell me about it...I aint lifted a finger to work, for a paycheck in 19 years...First 4 year were a little weird. I felt useless and out of place, cause I was only 44
 
To servive and keep our minds straight (sorta) we must stay busy and also have a hobby, or in Mitch'es case a girl friend :lol:

Ohh definitely, Memi...A man has to stay busy.. Most of you know, I got something going everyday. I'm not the guy that went home after retirement, and ate himself to death , on the couch, in just a few years.. I know its cliche ish but I dunno how I got anything done, when i still had my Parts Stores....

I tell people its nice. I get more money now than I was working to stay away...ok I can handle that!!
 
Looks like I got the gas tank plug fixed, freaking mess. Just want to change the brake line behind the tank so it is all new lines. It is on Deans lift. Supposed to go there this AM. Marilyn was supposed to go downtown with a friend for a appointment at 10, that fell through, one word UBER!!:mob:

Some days I WISH I had a job so that I could go in and get some rest. :lol:
Retirement is what you make it...keep moving and enjoy what your doing you earned it!!
 
Living small is the way to go, keep the creative mind, never let a beer get warm and always smoke a fatty in the morning after breakfast :lol:
 
The gentleman i returned the tractor to yesterday is retired,built a nice size garage for putting about in the winter months. His wife retired and they go south every winter.
So now he’s downsizing as he doesent have time to work on his projects.
Offered a bunch of stuff he has accumulated. Trailers, an antique pedal boat-built in the 50’s old parlour stove and a pile of steel tubing.
He spends his time looking after the yard and fishing. Camping trips are his big thing.
He’s in panic mode too, Macular degeneration is creeping up .
Eye doc told me i have it as well,
I’m not going to panic,I will push forward until i cant.
 
Well guys, it's time to get outside and burn leafs and wind fall, bet there will be a beer in my hand by 10:30 !
Everyone enjoy this day we have been given, even if you work at something ! enjoy it the best you can, or uber, get it dun and smile Hop's :lol:
 
Yup, head out for coffee,plug my phone in to shop stereo and crank my favourite tunes.

How do i turn off this damn spellcheck? I keep going back and correcting my spelling.
 
Good morning c\_/. Got 1st quote on new heat pump system installed,,, 4600 for 3 ton Lennox. I said call me back with quotes on Coleman, Comfort Maker, etc., hoping there is substantial difference. None available today will last 30 years like this Trane did anyway,,, not even another Trane.
 
Morning Crew. Was 82 here on Sunday, 72 yesterday and storms last night. 2nd biggest car show/swap meet is this weekend in Jefferson, WI. Supposed to be 47 and Rain on Sat.....WTF. Hope everyone has a great day...
