Well, it was a very long frustrating day, but the Demon lives!!! First time it has run since 1983. Dad made the trek over in the Cuda which worked flawlessly here and back. 90 miles each way. It is a great day.

We meet at the Warren Dunes in Sawyer Michigan...
My buddy is from Battle Creek and works in Flint, MI... He gets every other weekend off, he goes to Battle Creek on the weekends he has off, so in the summer we buy season passes for the Michigan state parks and meet at the beach once a month...
Warren Dunes in Michigan is about half way between us....
He brings his small weber grille and some burgers and brats and grills them up...
He told me not to bring hamburgers as I am going to the Polish deli tomorrow morning to get some fresh sausage and some fresh baked rolls... However, my two sons and three of their friends are also going so I picked up some extra burgers also... (shoot me for not following directions...)
And I am still going to get some sausages and rolls from the Polish deli in the morning when they are fresh...
I got a 3 lb package of ground beef and two packages of hamburger buns...
So far I have: 24 pack of water bottles, 3 gallons of water, 2 x 8 packs of Gatorade, 24 snack pack puddings, 2 Cheese-Zits, 2 ruffles and french onion dip, 2 puffed Cheetos, 12 ears of corn, chopped green peppers and onions for the sausages and burgers, 3 lb of ground beef, 16 burger buns, and two bags of large marshmallows....

Back from the show what a long day. Temp was 100 with a 115 heat index. I can only imagine what the temp was in the parking lot we sat in.
We did well but always interesting to take a MOPAR to an open class show. I told Cheryl from now on the Barracuda goes to MOPAR only shows. Most people just don't appreciate them.
Did get a phone call on the way back. Some premo storage here in town, I've been trying to get in for over a year always full. Its a 13x50 so can park the truck and trailer inside, concrete floor, security, heating and air. They only have 15 units. Saw the owners wife's car there one day about a month ago. I'd never met her so stopped and Cheryl was with me. Cheryl is a chatter box and they went at it for 45 minutes. Anyway seems she told hubby she's give up one of her units so we can have storage. That was great to hear. Get in the next month or two.
Time for a bath and drink or is it a drink then a bath?? Or drink, bath, drink!!

Buddy’s daughers birthday dinner. Cousin Erv brought out his deep fryer and served up a mess of delicious chicken wings.
Som BBQ and blueberry cheesecake for dessert. Great meal. A few drinks a lot of laughs. Best was when i went off the edge criticizing Man buns..

Zman, in an effort to be more efficient I have hung a little shelf in the shower where I can set my beer. Nothing says life is good like a cold beer in the shower. I should probably patent it!
