We were at a BBQ. About 8 the first fireworks were lit. Cheryl turned around in her chair to ask if it was time to go and I was already heading up the walkway. About half way up the walk some A hole threw a M-80 the other direction. It echoed across the lake setting off alarms on the other side. I got to the car got in and waited for Cheryl. Went home turned a couple large fans on high put them about three feet away and went to bed. That's good to hear. Lots of friends on Facebook not happy about last nights noise. Meh. It’s one week out of the year. Now I try to be courteous and not set off anything super Loud and if I do, I try to keep it as early as possible, some of the louder high whistle stuff I set off in the afternoon. No need to keep people awakeThat's good to hear. Lots of friends on Facebook not happy about last nights noise. Spouses and pets effected. And we allow the whole thing again tonight.
Just like "walking the dog" For those on here that don't understand the term. It is when a guy wearing a different colored shirt than you lobs a mortar in your direction, makes a correction lobs another one, makes yet another correction and lobs yet another one. Each ensuing round getting closer and closer to your position. Hence the term "walking the dog" Your objective of course is to eliminate the source! Love the Holiday and what it stands for but mortars still suck!We were at a BBQ. About 8 the first fireworks were lit.
