How did you bend the PIN ??????
I do not honestly know,, was tightening it down with a wrench and I felt it give. Wasn’t even bottomed out in the taperHow did you bend the PIN ??????

Like most stuff now days. Probably made in China.
No idea. Only thing I can think of is it was slightly cross threaded and I didn’t notice. It’s only bent from the threaded part to the tip.
Or it was bent from the get go and I didn’t notice.
Anyone have a set of A body pin type calipers laying around?

I don't think I ever bent a 3/8? bolt even if cross threaded. Cross threading would definitely leave evidence.

yeah, the threads look fine, stretched near the start of the bend, but otherwise fine

Always had extra bolts for changing screen cloths on the shaker

Feeding through a tapered hole surely is not going to put a bend in it.

Think i will be contacting an old parts supplier, has accumulated new old front end and brake stuff for most of his life. Buys out garages closing down. He has trw and good old stock

Bet Craig make could his own. I think they are open ended. Buy some plastic tubing of the correct thickness. Actually - first check with James at DMT - if he's not already on it he might be interested.
