Stop in for a cup of coffee

Well the parts for the guys distributor tester came in yesterday. Now to find time to go do it. Thinking Monday. STILL cleaning up distribs that got wet at Carlisle. Holy cow it is a lot of work down to just 15 or so now! Still have not even went through the cores I picked up, just no time at all.
What's the hold up? Too much Ubering? :poke::poke::lol:

I did by accident find a replacement for the paint stripper I use cleaning up the distribs of baked on oil. Oven cleaner! Works like a champ! Wiped out the dollar stores near me on them. Hell 2 a can goes a long way.

We need to help you come up with a way to batten the hatches on your portable display and inventory.

Actually have had a break. Lots of other stuff needed attention around here. Finally trouble shot the charging issue on the tractor with the short. Was a direct short at least 20 amps. Took a half day but it was the alternator was in a certain position it was draining the battery. Nothing like a intermittent problem to troubleshoot!

Nope , 5/2 = a half *** 10/4 :rofl::rofl:

Plastic totes with a false bottom. Snap the lids on for protection. Easy to load up for the trip home too.

Problem was when the other pop up collapsed the water went right into the storage containers with not displayed distribs. Stuff displayed was fine with plastic on it. Lesson learned though particle board and Carlisle don't mix!. Plan on weather stripping them with foam before next year. The small peel and stick stuff should do it.

But the table looks really good. no side walls to block the view.
I don't trust those totes in a storm - I think Hoppy had a bunch of stuff in totes this year. OK for a light rain but not a storm.

I hate OSM, particle board - pretty much any sheet goods.
That said.
Reseal the cuts on a outside or marine grade and they should be OK.

The semi clear ones seal well. The interlocking lids not so much.

Plan on making something decent with different levels. Prob some sort of tubing and boards. Definitely need more display room.

prob similar but collapsible.

Bottoms are good for sitting in water but those tops don't have a chance.
Foam will help for light rain
Still fighting gravity and capillary action.
They say don't mess with Mother nature.
But Physics can be a real a_hole too!

That would be slick!
That with a clam-shell type lid.
Lid could be on a hing or sperate with latches like portable audio concert stuff.

Those would be better! Still collect pools of water on each. PIA when there's a stack of 'em.
Just have not seen small ones that can support the weight stacked. Each one is around 40-80 pounds depending if they are aluminum or dual points.

Matt that shoot out in Philly yesterday near you? Wolfie said it was like a war zone there.
