Stop in for a cup of coffee

Those Cibies were like that. Halogen bulb if I remember right, replaceable. The lens was focused and fluted so that Lo was a long distance fog lamp and Hi was instant daylight for a mile.

Unfortunately they were not Ca approved and the CHP officer recognized them immediately while the old man was borrowing the Yota. He was not a happy camper when he handed me that "Fixit" ticket
I'm not sure if the H4s were available in UK in 67 or this was an earlier version of the same concept.
rally guys from that era always talk about Lucas Flamethrowers for auxillery lights.
That was the leading edge lighting tech of the day and very far out looking - aethetically anyway. LOL

Hella lights...best there is. I used to run 90/100w on my Opel Manta in the stock housings and lit up the road for a mile ahead of me. I had separate Hella driving/fogs on my ‘70 Duster and they were awesome.

The kit I linked, is an H4 conversion kit. But yeah, anything has to be better than factory 1964-1974

No. Not true at all.
Lots of junk being sold out there.
And then guys buy it and say its great. So it must be true.
Very true. Don’t get me wrong, hella lights are awesome lights. KC’s aren’t that bad either. I’ve ran them for years. They aren’t as good as they used to be as their painted housings don’t last long before rusting but their stainless stuff is still good

and a little Boston!

It's gonna be hard to beat this Boston live performance of that song.....

This interview with Tom Sholz is very interesting how he played all of the instruments himself on all but one song for the original album in a small studio that he built in his basement, then found the rest of the band to play and Brad Delp to sing...

Not to mention how Tom Sholz invented the "Power Soak" to make their trademark guitar sound and then went on to start his own company to market it... (Go to 27:00 for that part)

If you want to believe that then you are only supporting what I wrote.
Sorry I bothered to point you to some experts who have access to non-subjective comparitive methods.
Have fun with your search for a lamp with an amp hour rating.

No I’m researching those as well. I was just saying that I’ve been happy with my KCs, I’ve not yet had any issues with them and had on one truck now since 2001. Does that mean they are the best? No

Saw Petty in concert. One of the best. Had tickets to Boston (huge fan) but weather spoiled both concerts. :BangHead::BangHead:

I never saw either of them live, but would have loved to...

But when you talk about live band performances, it's hard to beat The Who with Keith Moon... He's one of my favorite all time drummers - all over the drums... You have to see him play to appreciate what he's doing... He can hit 2 - 3 drums/symbols in one stroke... He was a mad man all over the drums...

What they say about the Dallas cowboy cheerleaders applies to Keith Moon "Often imitated, but never equalled"...

He's all over the drums in this song...

Then this is one of my favorite drum parts from Keith, he's an animal on the drums here, not to mention Pete Townshend's signature windmill playing of the guitar, and John Entwhistle standing so still but his fingers are crazy on the bass....

I've seen the Who play a few times after Keith died, they were still good, but I wish I could have been to one of the shows with Keith... He died before I was old enough to see one of their shows...
