I have no idea what year the vette is, maybe one of you folks that are Vette savvy know? All I know is her and her sister were talking smack to me about restoring it and I took a hard pass. They need to hire a real vette guy. They turn their backs and I would throw a gen 3 Hemi and a HDK front under it and paint it Sublime! Hah!

Good Morning folks, it’s the start of a long hot day. Stay safe and hydrated my friends.

Our high yesterday was 78° and lows between 56° - 66° depending on how close to Lake Michigan you were...

Today's supposed to be in the mid 70's again with similar lows for tonight.... :D

This is the perfect weather for me.... :D

You all in the west, south, and southwest enjoy all that heat... I'll take the weather up here... :poke: :thankyou:

Man I would just clean it up and auction it. Prob worth more. Any idea engine/trans? Looks like poly tires on it also.

I have no idea how long it was buried in wood shop as the first time I laid eyes on it was about twenty years ago and it never moved an inch since then. Just got deeper in wood debris and mouse nests.

speaking of mouse nests, caught another one in the trap by the dog's feeding bowl...

Those guys come back once in a while...

I better bait and set more traps in case he has more friends or relatives...

That is exactly what I told them, her sister does not want to do anything while her father is alive. He is very ill. That is catalyst for the DMV transfer. They want to do it while it is easier now. I should ask when it was last plated. He parked it and never touched it again. Literally used it as a saw horse. And as years went buy a storage shelf for wood.

We’ve had some higher humidity than normal lately, 90*+ and 70%+ Not a fan, but I realize that I should probably learn how to live with it. Won’t be out west forever.

That can be a big dollar car know just enough about them from a friend that had a bunch. Those side pipes are factory for sure. The wheels might be also. Pretty sure that is a removable hardtop. Definitely take it off and exercise the soft top and hit it with some preservative. Man that is just awesome! If that is a big block stick easily 85K as it sits.

Definitely have them take more pics I would love to see them. Actually going to the vette show today so I will look around at values.

We did have some high humidity in the past week, one day even got up to 90%...

I'm glad it's cooling down and the humidity has dropped... Hopefully it will last through the weekend...
