do you have any pics to use as an example of what you mean.
I have no idea what you are talking about
So, wouldn’t it need to be designed that way? How would you approach changing from round bulbs to that?
drove to Blackfoot Idaho, pulled back my brothers office trailer for him. Damn long trip..Where yuins been?
Hate, hate, hate stinging little muthafluggers! The renting of my brush cutter (Billy Goat) went sideways yesterday when I ran over an underground bees nest. I was getting stung pretty bad and worse yet my two dogs were too so had to leave it running down the hill. Was able to back my truck down the hill but couldn't get out to shut it down. Waited till nightfall, dressed up like I didn't want to get stung more and with neighbors help got it fueled and up the hill (he got stung).

It is starting to dawn on me that the lack of answer had to do with "what is he talking about". lol Sorry.
Headlamp - Wikipedia
The top picture is asymmetrical low beams. All high beams are symmetrical. The advantage is that the light on the right side of the road lights up further forward to see pedestrians, or whatever else is on the edge of the road, animals not looking at you, or an obstacle. On the left side of the road the low beams have a much shorter beam not to blind oncoming traffic.
A lot of people are afraid that such headlights will blind oncoming traffic, but headlamp lenses are shaped so they have far less stray light upward than the ones you are used to here, even if the bulbs have more watts. Gives better light, and safer driving.

Raining like heck, and very windy. VERY windy!! And getting cold...The weather is changing up here, must be even more changed up in Idaho.

I think this would be cool on a tuner or moden custom car.It is starting to dawn on me that the lack of answer had to do with "what is he talking about". lol Sorry.

I will never talk bad about Ford trucks ever again. The traction control on the truck, actually by itself straightened out the almost jack knifed trailer and kept me on the road facing the right direction. Freakin steering wheel was turning by itself!! In the blink of an eye it started and was over!!!!Thing weighs over 20K lbs. Ball mount! Freakin guys who built it only tacked welded on the spring hangers, guess what? One came loose and almost sent me into the center divide! Definitely an O **** moment!!!
I think this would be cool on a tuner or moden custom car.
However for a 50 year old car with stock headlights or even somewhat modified with a stronger light, there is really no point, these old cars will never match HID lighting or any kind of lighting that came to be in the 10 -15 years

When you get them, post pics. You might be onto the next big thing. However it is a new and foreign concept for people like me who have accepted the original headlights as normal.I'll see if I can get my hands on a pair for my '65 Baby Dodge as my wife call it. I so miss them lights. They fit right in. I really hate HID lights, that blueish light hits my eyes like knives.

Glad you’re ok timHad to replace one trailer tire and have the axle re-positioned and re welded. Could have been a disaster. Lost my truck and his trailer real easy...
You can change out the bulbs for a whiter , more traditional colorI'll see if I can get my hands on a pair for my '65 Baby Dodge as my wife call it. I so miss them lights. They fit right in. I really hate HID lights, that blueish light hits my eyes like knives.

Me too!!!Glad you’re ok tim
The Headlights on my 2017 Ford are LED. They are only about 4 by 2 inches each. Consisting of several LED emitters. Best headlights I have ever seen. Seems like an easy thing to fabricate a housing to incorporate those into just about any vehicle, using plastic. When you get them, post pics. You might be onto the next big thing. Watch out for that air filter Mark. If the carb backfires, ever, it can cause a fire with that foam filter. I have seen it happen, and know of many. They look cool though . I used to have one on my Corvette....Some one posted a bunch of pics from the car show this weekend, they got some of the Jalopy!

All legit headlights have an asymetrical low beam. That wikopedia about US regs being less strict with respect to glare is not factually supported. The regs are different but one is not stricter than the other. It is starting to dawn on me that the lack of answer had to do with "what is he talking about". lol Sorry.

There's no point in putting good lamps on a car???? I'm sure that's not what you mean.I think this would be cool on a tuner or moden custom car.
