Well, these are the ones I am looking for:
Hella 002395801 7" Round E-Code (ECE) H4 Conversion Headlight Kit
The only thing I am not sure of is the H4 bulbs themselves. It does not say what kind it is, if it is 60/55 watts, og 100/90 I think some are. It is the 60/55 watt I am looking for. The headlamp switch hold, just barely, but no trailer towing at the same time. I plan to get a set of relays and mount under the battery tray, that way they are out of the way.
The bulb socket for a regular sealed beam and the H4 are the same.
On all my American cars in Norway I have done this conversion, and it is like night and day.
Had Mexican before I sat on it!Nice seat!
You need to drive that thing!Actually worked on the pop yesterday want to pull it out. I have no idea how but I melted the petronix unit in it prob from having the key on and the engine not running. Hard to find it is in a old Mallory mechanical dual point. Have to see what I have around here now that will work in just mechanical don't want to add a box or points the wiring is set up for the petronix.
Don't make me pull out my photos of melted headlight and headlight switch connectors. The only thing I am not sure of is the H4 bulbs themselves. is there a huge difference between the Cinbies and the Hella's to warrant the cost difference?I don't know for sure. I owned a pair like that and gave them away when I got the Hellas that meet US automotive standards.
If its that model, the noticible differences were the super sharp cut-off line, and when the low beams were aimed correctly, the high beams were too high - leaving a big dark area on the road. Stern posted a these isocandella diagrams of that Hella and the production Cibie (late 1990s early 2000s).

I just don't think you'll be that happy with those on a car.
7" Sealed Beam H4 replacement - ECE or DOT?
But Hella does make some other models/or has, and if its one of those, its probably better.
Updated Hella "Super" 7" H4 Headlights
The cat's meow for North American use is probably Cinbie's "Bobbi" lamps and their "Z-beam" lamps; both long out out of production.
The Bobbi models had a sealed housing, and used an H4 or HB2 bulb.
The Z beam had a beam that steps up on the right like the VOL and VOR patterns, instead of angling up. I've got a set but haven't put them in yet.
There's a pair of used Z-beams on e-pay now for around 270.
New genuine Cibies are about 90 each or 180 a pair in the US/Canada.
Not cheap!
I have. Or use to.Morning all. Slept in today, sorry Mike.
Going to call and go see the bone cruncher today.
I've had a stiff neck for over a week and can't seem to do anything that will help.
My daughter goes to this guy on a regular basis, and says I'm out of alignment.
I'm ready!!
Anyone here use a chiropractor??

I thought this was for an A-body?There is a difference in the glasses for 5 3/4 lamps, look at these from Summit. Look at the lamp from the side, how the glass is. It does not look like the original sealed beam lamps. I used to have these for the upper lamps for my '65 Galaxie, the high beams and low beams. And regular sealed beam halogen for the lower ones, which was only high beams.

These are not ECE lamps, but the picture shows how the glass looks like from the side.
The next link is for the same 5 3/4 lamp, ECE approved,
Hella Vision Plus Headlamps 002850811
Then, the 7 inch, they have a look more like the original sealed beam ones,

I don't really know the reason for the glass on the 5 3/4" lamp being moved more forward. But, I wonder if it is to give the glass a certain distance to the bulb / filament for the glass to properly adjust the light pattern.
It is also possible to find these in big and small rectangular sealed beam conversions. And the same H4 bulb fits in those too.

Thanks just need a new Petronix unit.I may have an old Mallory dual point distributor for a 440...
If it is in the joint, an an anti-inflamatory does help. I've used Aleve or equivalent. Try not to use it often or mix it.I agree. I do the exercise, tow hours cardio tennis four times a week.
I worked a couple trigger points and thought they were the problem.
New court shoes would probably help.
I found a bottle of muscle relaxers. I'll try those today with some stretching, and see if that helps.

I use a very small statured Chinese lady, sometimes she crawls right up on top of me and uses her knees ( que Karl). Anyway I go once a month and she virtually eliminated my back issues. Like Rainy I speak multiple languages. She (Doctor) has been teaching me Mandarin which I am finding very difficult to learn. Be as specific as you can be when explaining your issues to bone crusher.Morning all. Slept in today, sorry Mike.
