Stop in for a cup of coffee

Plastic-dip spray. You can always peel it off and respray later.

Nothing wrong with Plasti Dip. Neighbor kid did a Jeep for his future FIL and it came out great. As for the Neon... It will probably be Rustoleum or Tractor paint. Whatever I do will be permanent (for me anyway). I have no intension of doing it twice. LOL

Did you see the red station wagon I had, I posted two pics of it some days ago. Anyway, number two owner after me rolled it flat black. I wanted to cry when I saw it.

Bill
I could sand the Neon with a brick and paint it with a broom and nobody would cry. LOL
I could spray it in my driveway and nobody would care. Just getting to the point I really hate the fumes. I wear a mask for anything more than a couple passes with a spray can, even outside.

Will check in after a bit here. See if anyone is going to be cranking up the Night Shift again . . .

OK, you can paint the Neon with lacquer.
Bring it here and I will. Until you have done it, you don’t know how easy it is. If Tim is here when you bring it, we will spray it together...in the driveway, no paint booth required.

No ****, it is that easy.

So where is the night shift

Just woke up from a nap, so I am running a full battery charge LOL

Night Shift . .

Looks like Tim stepped out . .

He is a swing shifter.

Anyways, so what's the night topic going to be?

It was a great day here, got to see the mountains.

Also remembered 9/11. I was really quite young when that happened. In a big way that was one the first times I saw the ugliness of the world. When it happened I could not grasp why anyone would do something like that. It had never even occurred to me that anyone could hate regular people in any particular country for just living. I mean these people who worked in the trade centers, got up in the morning and wore suits, and dresses with the intent of working in an office. I imagine they lived very average and normal lives.

It was a shock to say the least

Yeah the Mountains are cool.

Snow Skiing coming up , , , Breckenridge, Kystone (night skiing, been there . . good one) Steamboat, Copper Mountain, Arruppa ???

Yes caught that whole 9-11 thing the day it all happened, watched it unfold the whole day. Never thought those towers would ever go down even though they were on fire.

Keystone Colorado night skiing, boy does this video bring back some memories. Used to catch some firesale flights and head out there on spur of the moment for 2 days of skiing.

Seams to me Steamboat had 3 different tiers of elevation for skiing. 8,000 ft, 10,000 ft and 12,000 ft.

Was up at the highest one for 1 hour and started to get dehydrated quick had to head back down to the next 10,000 ft level where the air was not quite so thin.

Change of seasons coming on, not looking forward to what is coming in a couple months.

Would rather be outside without a coat, oh well the grass quits growing and that's the end of the mowing chore.

Rain, how far from Denver are you. Did you go up to the Mountains from there?

Denver 5,000 ft elevation, ears poping from the elevation change as you are driving up into the mountain area of 8,000 ft.

There is a James Bond Movie House you can see next to the highway heading up to the mountains from Denver, ever seen that ??

Brrrrrrr. Too cold to look at

That's why I have a plan B to sneak down to a warmer climate when the time is right.

That plan B was a 10 year plan that I was sharing with lots of people over the years, kept working toward the goal, things lined up at the right time, the right place and was able to make it happen. Some sweat equity and now have a basic base to go to and hang my hat when it gets too nasty in the upper midwest.

Hmmm, thanks....well it won't be that quick. More of a next year to-do item. That is if I am still driving it in the Spring. I have sprayed lacquer before. Actually lots of it. But it was clear, on furniture.
Aren't touch ups like duplicolor laquer?

Here is a project @340mike his son is doing, good project to do in the warm shop for the cooler months coming up.

Young smart guy getting into the hobby.
