Couldn't stand the politics any longer huh ???
That was a factor. The biggest issue was my health. My feet were givin me fits. They are a lot better now.
I stood for 3 years at the parts store, 13 years at the service desk at the Buick dealer, and 28 years on the MAC route. It feels good to get off my feet now that I have retired.
Should we take up a collection like we usually do for others???

Clear skies and a blistering 40sumthin and just 7 days after the end of summer. Unfortunately those 30mph+ winds are supposed to return also. Makes it difficult to enjoy the afternoon on the porch when you're worrying about the adult beverage container being blown over by the wind
Getting chilly, was 43 this morning, moist and cold, but clear sky. Crisp air.

Dang, it's 80° here and real sticky!
Finally getting some MUCH needed rain here, albeit only an inch or two. We've had no rain for a month..Grass is dying, leaves are already falling. Temps in the 70's now, but going to 90 by the weekend.
Mike, it says maximum temp today will be a high 67. I call that a 68, but whatever.
Definitely getting different weather here. But glad the 108 we had on Wednesday last week is gone. That was brutal.Bill
Just looked, it has managed to crawl up to 52 now, and it is 9:25 am. And California is the state were all the women walks around in bikini, and everyone has to go to the ocean for a swim to cool down. Huh, more like all the women have to wear a "burkini"... yeah google that one. LOL

Heat is on in the shop. So you all can go jump in the lake. Or whatever you do to cool off.
El camino got a new rad,shroud repaired and a good used fan clutch. Time to whip up some mounts for the bucket seats.
