Stop in for a cup of coffee

Got to see in one of the boxes that is waiting for me. It was my flex hone. You box is there, the piston rings are there. Just going to need the oil pan to install and start the 360.

I have a bit of a priority list on the cars though. 1. Truck 2. Coronet 3. 65 Fairlane 4. 68 stang/71swinger. #3 is repair so I can sell it. #4 bonded title work. I lost the title on the 68 before it was in my name. Wife missplaced it when I was trying to pull a Marty report. Tim and Mike know what I'm talking about.

Man I have been swamped since Carlisle with orders. Took a break kind of last week to get the motor out of the cuda and the bottom of the car stripped of undercoating when it was fairly warm so I could pressure wash it. Prob start on core distribs for Carlisle next week if I can. Guess I am doing it right for sure. Get phone calls all the time "Joe referred me to you I have a 440-6 car and need a distributor rebuilt" Just amazing how word gets out there.

Here is a good one bought a bunch of nos parts of of craigslist in the mid west sent him a money order.

Ray,
I just wanted to let you know that I received the money order today and your parts will be shipping out Tuesday, my wife is going to ship it through her work account and she won't be back in the office until Tuesday. I'll update you when it ships. Since you rebuild Mopar distributors, do you by any chance have a numbers matching distributor around there for a 1970 GTX, 440 4 bbl. automatic, I'm doing a resto and I am looking for one.
Thanks,

Yes how many you want?

Thats cool. I'm actually excited to see how the Coronet performes with the dizzy I got from you.

Should wake it up a bit. Tell you what getting a properly curved distributor is definitely the cheapest thing you can do to a car.

Morning folks. Cleaning up the garage today. Building a dolly for the 360 to roll it under the work bench so I can make some room for the mopeds my boy got.

He’s got two Honda MT50 now. Got the second one to get the instrumentation and some of the wiring that was missing from the old one (black).

I’m building it! Getting the block from Illinois or thereabouts after Christmas.
400 bored to 4.36” with 440 crank, 400/383 rods and Ford 460 pistons 030 over. Got forged ones for $150 the other day.

What application? Did one for a friend and he got lucky with it the cam plate had two settings and I switched it and it worked.

Saw the heads and the cam. Dam what will it cost to get a block shipped to you?

From what I'm seeing they have 2 slots but there or 2 plates with different advance slots. Got to tear it down to find out what plate you have first.
