Cold here this morning, but warming up through the weekend.
Crew showing up to drill and fill the garage walls with installation. Should help heat and cool the garage.

Only a pre'70 could withstand that environment for this long.
Went to Hawaii on my honeymoon in '80. One of the first things I notice are the cars or rather the vintage of the cars. They were either pre'70 or brand new with not much in between. I asked one of the locals and he told me that after '70 whatever you bought was good for about 6 or 7 years because that's how long it took for them to completely rust out.

In the interest of my Duster staying in a ‘not far gone’ state for a while. I ordered a cover. Should have it by end of next week. Getting the one @Ddaddy recommended. I need to get it in the garage for a while so it’s completely dry inside before puting it back outside under the cover. To do that I need to clear the garage. Been making some progress on that, but not there yet...

Not like a knife slice almost like it was pulled or stepped on. Just weird. Wagon wheel issue maybe? Told dean get me a set of the metal ones to put in. Just always at the worst time of course.
I have a set I will send you, good for 110 psi

wow, that's the normal high for here in northeast Arkansas this time of year, where is it you are from ? I forgot
Hi Mike, from eastern Colorado. Normal around here is 50-60 this time of year. And 40-50 through the winter.

Sun is supposed to come out today. Im not holding my breath.
Todays work is done.

Seems like everytime I go to the drag strip the announcement comes over the loud speaker that somebody needs a 6AL box.
why do you think Nascar and other race teams use two boxes? so they can switch between them. Also mounting has a HUGE part to do with the failures. From what I've seen, its heat. the boxes don't extract heat quickly so under the hood or under dash, they get and stay hot.

I mounted my MSD box and coil under the dash in the 69' Vert I sold. Kept it much cooler and was a theft deterrent, tough to hotwire.
Box failed, and was tough to get to, so new box was mounted under the hood, It was there when I sold it..

Good morning fellers

Yep I said good morning, slept in to 9:30.

Now it's 1015 with promises of being a Warmer day.

More garage cleaning

Making some headway with the charging issue. I think. Low battery in my volt/ ohm meter,
Different alternator and added a
Dash mounted voltage gauge.
If i test at battery, 14.7 seems to be the average. Now i need to carry on and start adding circuits and loads.

When I found the pics of the Volkspod scooters I posted earlier, This image popped into my head when I first saw them...so I just had to create it!
