Stop in for a cup of coffee

Got a set of tie rod boots for the fargo,another piece if the puzzle ready to go. but i think my connecting tie rod should be straight,if it is bent i will make a jig and press it straight. I may check the threads on a newer truck and see if they are the same. Failing that i may have to have one made. I know a guy.
 
Dam its cold today. Shop just wont warm up. -35 with wind chill. Guys working on guardrails at the bridge, flagmen standing out in the wind freezing their asses off. k. I feel better now thinking about them guys...

I have been told by almost all my competitors that I'm killing myself actually selling a full pound. I was taught to keep your word and to be honest. A 16oz is a pound not 12oz. No 2 ways about it.

From what I heard the Mr Norms cars that he sold were a mix of Chrysler, Ford and Chevy parts on the 6 pack setups. Depending on who was priced cheaper the carbs came out of either the Ford or Chevy bins. I could be wrong but was what I read.

They don’t claim it to be a pound. Just thats the way it was years ago and people see a bag and in their head it’s ‘a pound’.. Same with so many other products, mostly foods. We have gotten used to most coffees in 12 oz now. Buy a bag for $8.99 and your brain is telling you that is the cost per lb. when its actually $12/lb. So now they are bagging some even less. :BangHead: When my daughter worked at Starbucks, she did actually get a lot in full lb bags. Not many others I see have them.

I asked my boss what type of coffee he makes at work because it is strong, I mean strong.

He said: diesel coffee

I said: why do you call it that

He said: because if you drink too much, you're going to burp black smoke.

Thanks. I know he did a ton of stuff. That distrib I reverse cloned was for a guy was a turbo/supercharged one. 72 I believe. I want to meet him I hear he still goes to Carlisle.

FYI he has a large setup and display every year at MITP In Minneapolis that many of us attend. He is a hoot, he spent a lot of time talking with my wife. It was classic! Not often she can be out talked!
 
Im grate too, grating on peoples nerves....

wheel bearing 1/2 done. Will be done by end of the day, nice little extra work. Tomorrow will be a long day too, but that’s fine. Have to get my glasses adjusted,they want to fall off, so i push them back up with my dam dirty paw and then i have to stop and clean them. Vicious circle..
