Stop in for a cup of coffee

This guy caught a 350 lb Warsaw Grouper in Florida a couple of weeks ago. Jeez...that’s a big fish! Estimated to be over 50 years old.

Got Cinnamon all tucked in her cover again. Probably down for a long Winter nap unless this goofy weather produces another day like this. Awesome that it was a Sunday so not at work. I did pull the mat out of the trunk and dried it out.. Would like to find a originalish looking mat that breathes. Seams like the smallest amount of water gets trapped under this and it spreads till most of the mat is damp underneath.

There's so many newer member on this site. Someone told me to talk to a member about kickdown linkage and I was like "Who is that??" I looked it up and the member joined in Jan. 2019.

A lot of them have screen names that look the same at a glance. Are there that many people who picked up A bodies in the last few years, Dang.

My suggestion would be to leave the mat rolled up in the trunk or stow away in the garage and only lay it out when you show the car. No one is going to see it when you are just cruising around.

Yep, Its folded on top of the spare now.

Practiced a little AutoCAD today now that I have the program back on my computer...

With 51.5 inches a fail.

I'm calling it at 49.50.

I went back to the yard and did not find anything even close. I went through my shed and found one that is 49.50 inches but it goes to my 67 cuda.

I am just using it now and I will worry about it later if I ever do anything with the cuda.

I transferred the new u joints over to the shorter driveshaft

Here is the distance with the front yoke bottomed out and the car with the weight on the back tires with the front end up on the jack stands

I positioned the grease zerks in the same position so if you see one, the other one is also on the bottom.

One time I greased a car and you can see one but the other was on the top, this makes it quicker to LOF. Imo

If the front yoke is bottomed out, then that should work... Just enough clearance to put the driveshaft in the axle...

But the muffler goes past the back end of the driveshaft....

yea, I know, but that is just how it was when this car came to me. I need to do something with the exhaust. Not sure what but im thinking I should just replace the whole system.

This was someone else's handy work and sometimes it's better to start fresh. This car was bought from a fabo member but he doesn't know much of the history of the car so it might be time to make new history with it

I was just poking at you... :poke:

How much the muffler is in front or back of the axle yoke is irrelevant... :steering:

Make sure to replace the muffler bearings since you put in new u-joints... :D

My hair regrowth continues. The first pic was 2 weeks ago and the second one is today.

I now know what is causing it, and it isn’t my weight loss. I have been doing something very specific that I didn’t realize was important at first. Now I am on a 12 week mission to prove it continues and then get it to work in just one other person. If I can achieve both of those goals, I am going to start my own company. I have several high power investors already lined up here in US and overseas just drooling and waiting for the results.

Today

Well here I am still awake. Enjoyed the game (GO CHIEFS) and Cheryl needed something from the store. I headed out the front door took two steps and hit the fresh unknown ice. My feet went straight out from under me. With a lot of military and law enforcement combative tactics training over the years your taught how to fall and land. When I felt my feet slide out all that training automatically kicked in. In a split second I landed, falling about four feet to the sidewalk landing on my left side. All was good except that the left side of my head hit the edge of the concrete porch on the way down.
As I laid there a moment I could feel the warm oozing blood down the side of my face. I tried to roll over but couldn't get my right arm or leg to respond, wouldn't move. I laid there took a deep breath and hollered for Cheryl. She hear me calling her name, and thought I'd forgotten something. She opened the door and saw me lying there bleeding and I got the WTF!!
She asked if I could roll over and I told her I couldn't move. I told her to call it in...call for help!! By the time she went in to get her phone and come back I regained feeling in my arm and leg and was able to sit up. She brought me a towel to put on my head wound and was talking to the 911 dispatcher. Funny neither one of us panicked. After a couple minutes I was able to stand and walk into the house, waiting for the fire medics to arrive.
Fire medics came in and with one look said that's gotta hurt. I told them a little explaining I had a high pain tolerance. They had an ambulance for transport on the way. I told them to cancel and we'd drive to the ER. So off we went, no I wasn't driving. I went right to the front of the ER line with a closed head injury. Well the gunshot victim beat me out. Funny, nurse daughter, on call for the surgery team, was called in for the gunshot victim. She did manage a quick check on Dad on her way to surgery. ER Doc had me do some brain injury function checks, concussion check, CT scan, and I was released.
I'm suppose to take it easy for the next few days. I feel ok, but sure I'll be sore. I have a very large palm size goose egg on the back left side of my head. I bled all over the place, but no stiches required.
Cheryl is going to stay home tomorrow and keep an eye on me. I told her she did a great job, calm and cool, and I appreciated all she did!! All is good life goes on.

Holy smokes guy! Glad your good to go. As you may remember I did roughly same thing a couple weeks back. I am still sore! I laid on ice till it started melting where my hip contacted it doing the self systems check. Man I hate getting old. Head lacerations bleed like you are gonna die but I know for a fact you got a hard skull. Hah! Be a good patient for Cheryl.
