I’m trying to figure out where the first part of that quote come from. Seems the forum reply stores some part of previous drafts and keeps them in place when you start a new reply.

Damned annoying if you ask me.

Handed it to the UPS driver for a torque converter.
Have had several, and 1000.00 as well. From the Carnival days, they would be saved by the old timers for there retirement. You know stashed away as they got them. Then, in my time, they would break one out and raffle it off, always getting much more then it was worth face value. Pretty freaking smart you ask me...

Too bad you didn’t keep it, they are valuable these days. They can be worth anywhere between $600 to over $1,500 apiece with an average worth of about a 40% premium to the bill's face value. Rare ones can go as high as $10,000.

Maybe. But it was pretty ratty bill. I was probably was lucky the bank had any at all. And I got all the enjoyment of using that tc. :)
Lets see what that TC goes for now.
