Stop in for a cup of coffee

Good morning. Wife is gone to work, freedom. Not really...
Well seller of compressor flaked, left Ray, OMR, hanging, we have pickup setup for Saturday, next. Hope it works out...
did the seller offer an excuse?

Where was he getting it from? Usually big stuff you have to go to their location, so its a pretty sure thing. Although... when I got my engine hoist on ebay, Crappy communication. Never gave me a full address. IIRC, just name and general location . Somehow I pieced it together from google search. Place was out in the country. Nobody home. Was ready to leave when I saw a little note on the door that the hoist was around back.

She maybe old, dirty and rusty but still the coolest (technically only) car in the parking lot. :D

Got the carb off the 64 T-Bird. 390 4BBL. Kit on its way. Will have it bolted back on before the weekend.
That is the extent of my day.

Can't get a F'n break! So, Im in the basement checking out the wires for cable hookup. Have it pretty much figured out. I look at the floor and there is a trickle of water coming from the pump. :wtf::mad:
Time to order a seal. :BangHead:

Well I finally got caught up enough to get going again on the Demon, got some super cool wheels and tires mounted. Working on sorting out wiring. I even resurrected my build thread! Just wasn’t any point in posting Demon is still at paint shop for 9 months! I know many on here prefer factory rims but I do not. Part of the very reason this site is great, truly live and let live!

Funny thing about those wheels. They are the same as what was on Tim’s ‘66.

Stated local pickup only. So Ray set up a meet near a bridge? Guess if you live there you know where that is....

Got my outdoor surveillance camera running. Just have to figure out the e-mail part.

looking good

Hope to get a little more of that done today. But need to focus on some other areas. Getting Xfinity hooked up tomorrow. Need to verify which cables go where and be sure they can get to them. Looked at it a little last night. When the Dish was installed years ago, they ran the cable around inside the basement perimeter instead of straight down the main beam (where I ran the antenna cable) Between that and a couple other runs currently not in use, there's gotta be an extra 100+ feet of coax hanging around. Might clean that up a little. But probably wait and see what they want to use. They may want to do all new runs. I can make or shorten cables later if I want. Have a spool of cable and can put ends on.

They may need to run a newer coax cable... As technology progresses, so does the cables needed for it...
