Chris,

Your fast idle issue. Haven't finished back reading nor all of the convo, but i had the exact issue with the tunnel ram. Turned out to be a big vacuum leak. Carb closed, but air getting in.

AGREE!!! Base of Carb, where that adapter is....

Spray some carb cleaner or something flammable around the carb, adapter, intake gaskets, etc while it is running. Idle with pick up when you get to the spot that is leaking as it now has air and fuel.

But NOT Starting fluid!!! Flames might occur!!!

Water is just as effective.it will run rough or make hissing sound.

 I am buying 2 cars from him. Though I must say they are conspicuously absent from those videos.:D

Heads up Frank, there is some really nasty winter storm coming your way. Total ice and sleet storm. Only a couple three inches of accumulation thus far so that is good. Wind is howling tho. Going to impact cresting on a red for sure.

BAd weather coming then, time for a drink.

I’ve sprayed the base with carb cleaner and starting fluid, nothing happens whatsoever.
