Oh great. Now it's going to be near impossible to find garden seeds. News story today that stores are selling out. So the hoarders will be out this morning to buy up whatever is left. :BangHead:

So the news report planted the seed....

That was a day of things that didnt go quite right. Couple bolts to fight with. Too much of a fight for my liking. Its fixed. Including rear brake pads and seized caliper pins to deal with.

Glenlivet Description
The Glenlivet exhibits the delicacy and softness that typifies the region's whiskies. And because it is so perfectly balanced, it almost seems that there's something new to discover every time you drink it. A perfectly rich balance of sweetness, floral fragrance and fruitiness that The Glenlivet develops through more than 12 years of patient ageing in oak casks. The essential ingredients are pure soft, natural water from Josies well and the finest barley & yeast. But it is this magical combination with the timeless skills of the Master Distiller that makes it so special. Colour: Light, Golden. Nose: Perfectly balanced fruity aroma with delicate floral fragrance and vanilla/honey sweetness. Taste: Classically Speyside, a soft smooth balance of sweet summer fruits and the floral fragrance of spring flowers. Finish: Lingering and gentle.

Wine Enthusiast: 90-95 Points
Off-dry malted barley and light toffee smells greet the olfactory sense along with flowery fragrances of heather, rose petal and pine. Entry features sweet grain and candied apricot tastes; the midpalate is mellow, malty, fruity (white raisins, apricots) and sophisticated. Ends on a buttery note. Remains the Speyside benchmark. Score: 90-95. November 15, 2008.

Must be nice outside,it was a beautiful day here. Had shop door open for a couple hours.

Interesting day. A good friend who’s wife works for a company that makes high end puzzles and toys showed some of my art stuff to her. She went nuts!

Seems they are very interested in my pieces and are reviewing them with the internal team to decide if they want to try to make a deal to license them.

It’s still all very tentative right now, but because these guys reject 99% of what comes in the door immediately and it takes a very long time for the remaining few to get reviewed, it’s a great compliment to even be considered for a deal.

Fingers crossed, I could use a break to start doing this as a career...and maybe, just maybe...this could be it.

Nice!
I think if they put eyes on a variety of your work, you may be a busy boy!
You have an eye for that.
Speaking of eye, any improvement on your other one?

Not really, not better...but not worse. If you know what it looks like when you look through tear filled eyes while crying, then you know what the vision in my left eye is like.

It’s like I constantly want to wipe away the tears from it...but they just just aren’t there.

Got it. Well i hope it improves soon.

Evening all.....
Evening.

had my grandmothers funeral today, that was really rough but we managed. Then about 90 minutes ago, my grandfather got a call, my grandmother’s older sister passed away late this evening, after watching her baby sister’s funeral. The two of them were pretty close. Really close infact. Talk about another kick to the nuts for my grandfather this week and the rest of the family of course. The real kicker is, she lived and died in Florida, and no one really is sure how or what things are gonna have to be done or where to even proceed. Crazy times for sure
