Stop in for a cup of coffee

It has 4 tires across the back and 2 on the front. I am thinking of using pneumatic tires for suspension but then I would always have a flat tire somewhere being that it is a 6 wheeler

Thursday!
Good morning.
I'm hearing a lot more morning rush hour traffic on the road to Vandenberg AFB lately.

Right at freezing up her on the tundra this morning. My grill I purchased off FB made it in yesterday. The seller just put it in a box and marked it fragile, so it is now cracked in the center. I would have at least put a piece of plywood in the box. Holy smokes. But the grill still is a marked improvement over my current one. Technical question to all you plastic savvy folks. What is best glue to use on the crack and do I need to stop drill plastic? The crack is on bottom so I think repair should be graceful. I will post a pix tonight when I get back to shop.
As I remember I believe someone in the site used acetone and shavings from another grill and made a filler/glue type of concoction.

I need to call Laysons. Seems they're the only ones carrying the PLYMOUTH hood letters. I need a new set.

Good morning all. Was in 70's this last weekend, now 50's and talking 29 with snow tonight with windy high of 41 tomorrow. WTF? welcome to spring in WI.

It can be "Welded" Just need heat gun, and the right "rod" Zoro sells the rod....
Yeah they work ok, we have a “plastic welder” at work for Argo body repair. The big issue is finding the right rod. And learning how to apply the heat without melting or distorting the adjacent areas.

I need to get them on since the tail panel is back. Chuck the mad santa body man will hang it all for me. Sick of looking at huge cut off areas!
Lower quarter patches and trunk floor extensions are kind of a turd. You have to open up a big enough hole to get in and work. LOL

91° predicted here today. That's October weather . And no wind to speak of, highly unusual for May. Blistering hot in parts of the old stomping grounds in the desert yesterday.

Pulled the gears out of the 8.375” diff. Looks like the 8.25 works. So ordered all my bearings seals and shims.
One axle is a little rough, so it gets repair bearing. Will spend the day cleaning and prepping. The brakes from the 7.25 fit, and looks like drums will work too. Just cross referencing numbers now.

Good mornin' everyone!

Maybe start up another topic? The plastic is ABS. You can order ABS cement online, or make your own with the key caps off a dead keyboard (or Lego's) and acetone.

Yup, brakes are the same, drums look different, but they will work.

well i just blew my car budget for the next 3 weeks, bought me a dana 60 track lok from a member on here. So hopefully by the time it gets here, I can send it to the local guy thats cutting down my D60 and get my axles in. IF and this is a HUGE IF, things go as planned, i could having a running, driving drivetrain in the Dart by August. Body wont be ready of course. But things are finally moving.
