I was answering an email from my Mom. Her senior community has done a great job keeping everyone there from getting sick, but it can get a little lonely. Don't even think about it.I was over on FCBO just now, looking at electrical upgrades, have any of you guys done the ammeter bypass? Looks so easy even I can do it, one wire from the alternator to the starter relay with a fusible link.

You know I think MAD is just nuts.Cracked back has a great relay kit he sells for the headlights. Look at the Mad ammeter by pass also.
Relays on the Goldfish are a good move. Just attach the power feed to the alternator output. That alone will take 9 amps off the rest of the wiring (at night). Less important if the car is still using the 6012 headlights. More important if using one of the higher draw replacement bulbs.Also a thread on how to upgrade your headlights to relay style.
