Do you mean depinning from the ribbon connector to fish the wires through without having to take so much apart?
Yes way easier. I tie something string to the end before you pull it out then tie it to the new one to pull it through, saves a ton of time.
And for me pulling a column apart and putting it back together is no big deal. Cadillacs and lincolns are the challenge.

@halifaxhops had my unit pull my retirement point information. Good thing too, they're shorting me 2 years worth of points. My very first two years. So I opened in inquiry this morning thru my unit, good thing I kept every single LES since 04.
Imagine that one. They did not have my navy stuff and had to prove it, gave them a8 years worth of LES's. Save everything! They scan and toss it now.

Well the down side to our long cold Winters is way have zero tolerance for hot days. It gets up towards 90 and I am melting down. Like Frank I only lasted till about three yesterday in the shop. I start early to beat the heat. And to most on here a ninety degree day is a cool one in mid summer. Up here you can literally count the 90 degree days per year on one hand!
With this heat we get crazy weather too. I did get my air conditioner in the office yesterday.
I need to move my office to the other garage, it stays cool in there,even with the 2 south facing windows. They must be low e windows.

Ray the dist. worked flawlessly. 18 degrees initial, total at 34, add in the vac can and cruise is 48 or so. No pinging under wide open throttle (which I thought it might as the advance I thought comes in a little quick)but no issues. Car runs great. Shifting at 5500, with no problem.
