Stop in for a cup of coffee

Not me. We either have an open and honest one-to-one discussion like equal partners or I’m out.

Bring thoughtful discussion and I will happily engage. Bring emotional madness and you can talk to the hand.

The logical mind must prevail. Emotions are an input, not a conclusion.

Tell me “I want” and I will tell you no. Talk to me about what “You need” and I will listen.

You want a fight? Prepare for me going nuclear...a permanent end.
Yup. Nuf said.

So when we were in TN, we toured the Ole Smokee distillery, they have tons of unique whiskeys, like Cookie Dough and Mango Habanero, they don’t taste too bad. But I got some of their bourbon. I must say, pretty disappointing. Kind of flavorless. And a bit weak. You can really tell the difference between it and Woodford Reserve.

Just listened to this again. It’s been a long time since I heard it, but the words are even more poignant now that they were even back then...

So I am confused with all the Bible talk on tattoos (officially done with that thread). Is it still OK for men to drink alcohol?

Not worried, just not making many friends over there anymore....thought to make sure before I just drink by myself quietly.

Since we're listening to music, I just found this one today...

Bible thumpers only believe in justifying their arrogant and narrow judgement of others by thumping the book. Like it makes them somehow in control of the fear they feel of being left to decide for themselves what is right and wrong...because they are terrified that without leaning on the book as justification, they are going to be ultimately responsible for what they choose to be and don't know if they can get it right.

I bought some batteries, but they weren't included, so I had to buy some more...

I love how they likely don't have long beards, short hair, don't swear or drink, no premarital sex, ......and then judge the **** out of everyone on the stuff they don't like by quoting the book they don't follow.

with all that said.....Skål, cheers, brohst, or whatever you like to call it...nite and take care everyone.

I posted this question in the cooling forum: What do you think would be more effective auxiliary electric fan, a
14” @1800cfm or 16” @1600cfm? and some folks rather than answer the question take it as an opportunity to rant. It’s just a question for gods sake!

Lower CFM with larger surface area. Heat extraction is about residence time, not volume and velocity. It takes time to transfer heat and more surface area makes it even more efficient.

Move too fast with a smaller area, and heat exchange rates become less efficient. Larger surface area at lower speed works better.

Well i guess the buckets of rain is done for now. A little water in the basement.
See! I forgot to remember to clean the gutters. What am i payin you for??
Geez louise..
Just a little, fan will dry it up.

And available amperage. More cfm is more amperage .reading different threads, this seems to be an issue as well.

Thank you Dave! A great answer.
