Brought 2 of the cars back from a friend's house last night too. Feels good to have them back. Need to insulate the garage before winter, but it is a nice space for now.

I like the 33's even betterI told my Dad once when I was a teen, "I found a '40 Willys for sale and I want it." In all seriousness Dad responds " What do you want one of those ugly MFs for?". His fav was '40 Ford. In my eyes, aside from a difference in the grill area they were clones .
Mud flaps...Chris back in the old country builds a V8 Vega hatchback. Stuffs the narrowist GM diff available under it and still had lots of tire hangin' out in the air. He drives it over the hill to San Bernardino to go to Super Shops. On his way home, CHP officer lights him up on I15. " was I doin' wrong? I wasn't speedin'". Officer takes license and registration. Chris watching him the rearview, officer has his foot resting on the exposed L60x15 and writing away in the ticket book. No mud flaps the ticket says
I wish I had kept my Vega wagon, I put a Buick V6 in it from a Grand National. It RAN!!!! Sold it when I started driving my 64 sport fury.....How about Wagin' Wednesday? Don't see these too often. Licensed and packing laundry!

It was, with the GM, heavy *** 4 speed behind it.....I was stranded with a blown clutch, No problem, I can change. Jacked up the car, jack stands, pulled the trans, almost crushed my chest!! OMG!! HEAVY!! Had to rent a trans jack to put it back in!!! Side of the road..... Had to walk to the rental yard and pulled it back in a Wagon!!! 5 miles one way!!! Of course, after walking past the yard on the way to get the clutch!!! And back....That sounds like fun!
I was 19 or 20,i bench pressed my 727 back into my 68 coronet after rebuilding it. That would never cross my mind today. It was, with the GM, heavy *** 4 speed behind it.....I was stranded with a blown clutch, No problem, I can change. Should I take mine off? I have been told they look ok. (or they are cute) LOLMud flaps...
There's a blast from the past. Back in the 80's all the parts stores had them chrome triangles with a little flap on the bottom to keep your oversized tires legal(er)...(and your burnout rubber off your quarters - LOL) Is that not a thing anymore? Haven't seen them around anymore.
