Good Evening (your time), looks like you've got a bit going on over there today. I keep getting side tracked, had to do a branches run and some clean up. Finally got to pulling the Duster fuel tank. Have a question about the filler tube, wondering if the tank can (or should be) dropped without removing the whole tube. There's a rubber gasket I thought might slide off of the tube but hanging a little, don't want to force w/o knowing. Found out there's B5 blue up under the tank, that was a surprise, as was it feels and sounds like about a gallon of fuel in there still after at least 6 years not being on road. Here's pics, comments for the newbie please : )

You can drop the tank without removing the fill tube... Just twist and pull on it until it comes down off the filler tube....

Thanks, a tomorrow thing now, more chores dang! I guess I'll put the screws back in the filler receptacle and put the cap back on for now.
Lube the tube and slide it in?Clean any gunk off the filler tube, and be sure to lube the filler tube and grommet with some grease or penetrating oil when you put the tank back up...
Twist and pull. Be slow though, depending on how old and brittle that is, they can tearGood Evening (your time), looks like you've got a bit going on over there today.
